Who's That Girl?
"I loved Madonna since the 80s. I loved this show. It was even better than the only other one I've seen, the MDNA Tour. She sang a lot more older songs, which made it better. The dancers had some really amazing dance interludes while she was changing. Her dancers had some really beautiful costume changes as well. One guy did a beautiful dance with a sheer, billowy, white scarf that was so nice. A group of dancers did a Cirque du Soleil kind of routine on flexible polls another time.
She really is kind and generous with her fans, in spite of her "Bitch, I'm Madonna" song and attitude. She thanked us for allowing her to still be here doing what she loves, "thirty years later."
She really likes to tell a story with her shows, it's not just about one song after another. The songs are great - the new ones as well as the old. So much creativity goes into her productions. I really admire her for that. Also, she continues to make creative use of religious symbols that is quite intriguing. It's also, amazing how she is able to reinterpret older songs in a way that gives them new meaning - as she did with "Who's That Girl."
If you never saw her back in the day, take it from me that she's still got it! All in all, I am only more of a fan/admirer now after seeing Daniel In The Lions' Den live show than I've been all these years. Go and see this show."
